The Challenge

AppointmentPlus has established themselves as the worldwide leader in online scheduling solutions, helping thousands of businesses operate more efficiently and effectively. As the company has evolved, so have their customers, and their product. A new brand became essential to communicating a fresh and improved experience to their growing customer base.

The leadership team at AppointmentPlus had tried to rebrand the company themselves, running into roadblocks each time. They had a logo that didn’t represent them — it was generic, lacking the vibrant personality of the team and the product.


Tallwave employed user-centered design approach with the AppointmentPlus Team to craft a new logo. The AppointmentPlus team is very collaborative and open to seeing rough ideas and concepts before they are refined. Tallwave created and presented 40+ sketched concepts in the first week.

The result was a bright and playful logo that not only matched their personality, but clearly communicated it to AppointmentPlus customers.


Since the launch of the new identity, the team has gone to work extending the brand through its tone and voice, which they refer to as “Olivia.” The company believes its success has been driven by a combination of their newfound identity, and by clearly, concisely, and consistently applying the honesty and wit of the Olivia brand voice throughout all external communications and marketing campaigns.

AppointmentPlus has enjoyed success with several social and paid media campaigns, particularly with their LinkedIn Marketing Solutions efforts. In January of 2016, they exceeded LinkedIn benchmarks for Click-thru Rate and Engagement Rate by more than 114%.

In May 2016, Tallwave & Appointment plus won the AMA Spectrum Award for best Logo - Brand Identity design.
