Terri O'Shaughnessy
Director of Client Success

Terri oversees our Market Intelligence programs that uncover what customers truly value to build products and brands that people love. With over 15 years of experience listening to and understanding the marketplace, Terri synthesizes complex data with deep insight and makes actionable plans for clients. Terri is trusted by our enterprise-level companies including American Express, Baker Tilly, Equality Health, and PayPal. Prior to Tallwave, Terri led UX, user testing, and product design and development for a startup online marketplace. She also has operational experience in the apparel and consumer electronics industries. Outside of work you can usually find Terri practicing yoga or cheering for the Ohio State Buckeyes. She is also the co-founder of a nonprofit foundation and owns two small businesses.

Jeffrey Pruit
CEO & Partner

Jeff founded Tallwave in 2010, and leads the strategic direction and innovation of Tallwave. He is passionate about building a culture that drives tremendous impact for Tallwave’s clients and employees. He is also the founder and GM of Tallwave Capital, an early stage venture fund that invests in innovative technology companies. Jeff is active in the innovation community as a frequent speaker at industry conferences and currently serves as an Executive Leader for The Idea Enterprise, a program developed by Arizona State University to connect senior business leaders with leading-edge idea teams to help them commercialize their ideas. He is also a contributing columnist for Inc., and was named the Governor’s Celebration of Innovation Ed Denison Business Leader of the Year by the Arizona Technology Council; and a Most Admired Leader and Tech Titan finalist by the Phoenix Business Journal and has also sat on the advisory councils of Google, Yahoo! and Microsoft. Previously, Jeffrey worked at Arthur Andersen and then served as the CFO, President and head of Corporate Development for iCrossing, where he helped drive the development and growth of the largest independent search agency – helping to grow revenues from $1M to $120m. In 2010, B2B Magazine named him one of the top ten most influential persons in search marketing. Jeff’s an Arizona native and ASU graduate. He’s an avid hiker, skier, and loves spending time with his wife, two sons, and daughter.

Ed Borromeo
COO & Partner

Ed is accountable for our business operations, but is most passionate about driving profitable, sustainable growth for our clients while supporting our amazing teams. Ed brings 16 years of strategic acumen to the table, leading engagements for our enterprise-level clients including American Express, Equality Health, PayPal, Spear Education, and Shutterfly. Prior to Tallwave, Ed consulted for early stage and growth companies and their executive teams, and was also the VP of Operations for a publicly traded utilities technology company. Previously, Ed was a Captain in the United States Air Force. He holds an engineering degree that he never got around to truly using and a MBA dwarfed by the hard lessons learned in real world business. Outside of work Ed enjoys badass action films, old fashioneds, Googling stuff, and quality time with his two sons and better half.

Robert Wallace
EVP Marketing & Partner

Robert oversees the company’s Branding practice, as well as the marketing, thought leadership, and communications programs to drive growth for Tallwave. He is particularly passionate about the overlap between brand and product. In addition to his managerial responsibilities, Robert has led some of the agency’s largest engagements for clients including FindLaw, AudioEye, Baker Tilly, and AppointmentPlus. Robert has spent his career working with startups and fast growth companies in industries including business services, marketing technology, ecommerce, footwear, and retail. Robert has an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. When he’s not working, Robert enjoys writing, making candy with his daughter, and boxing.

Oliver Tani
VP of Digital Marketing

Oliver is a master of search strategies for the digital marketing and web development worlds. With more than 20 years of experience, Oliver knows how to best integrate his strategies into global markets for clients of all sizes, including Universal Studios, Intercontinental Hotel Group, General Motors, Farmers Insurance, Crown Royal, ExxonMobil, and Intel. When not working obsessively hard for his clients, Oliver is often found nerding out with his wife and friends, playing video games with his son, having a tea party with his daughter, analyzing his gaming habits for optimal performance. Order him a Lagavulin neat and he’ll tell you all about it.

Brett Higginbotham
VP of Finance

Brett isn’t just a guy with amazing spreadsheets. He’s a data-driven, strategic thinker and plays a critical role on our leadership team with nearly 20 years FP&A experience. Brett also shares his financial expertise with clients by forecasting revenue and expenses and helping mitigate risk to increase the likelihood of success. Prior to joining Tallwave, Brett held executive level accounting positions at Inventure Foods and Global Water Resources. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a Senior Manager. Brett is a CPA, and holds a BS and MS in Accountancy from Brigham Young University. When not in the office, Brett enjoys spending time with his wife and three spirited kids.

Mike Barbeau
VP of Growth

A University of Colorado grad who skied his way to a degree before moving to San Francisco, Mike’s career in advertising spans creative agencies, ad tech startups, influencer marketing and digital strategy. With work on everything from the NBA to American Express, Mike’s seen his share of both taglines and technology. When he’s not trying to avoid sweating through his shirt in the 115 degree heat of Arizona, Mike spends time with his hero of a wife, two kids, Peloton bike, baseball games and two cats. Yes, cats.

Steve Miley
VP of Client Services

Steve is the VP of Client Services at Tallwave where he manages client relationships and oversees the account management team. With more than 15 years’ experience in digital marketing and strategy, Steve has a proven track record for driving successful agency-client relationships and delivering bottom-line results for organizations large and small in both B2B and B2C. He brings a unique cross section of skills to the Tallwave team, with a background in search and paid media solutions, digital content, UX/CX design, and management. Steve holds a bachelor’s in Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. When not at work, he can be found hanging out with his wife and two boys. And a little known, and surprising fact, Steve is competitive shooter.

Scott Williams
Director of Software Development

Scott has been shipping software for 20 years – that’s longer than Google’s been around. From tiny startups to Fortune 500 companies, Scott has empowered our development team to build engaging and strategic products that have been lauded by Wired, TechCrunch, Forbes, and Product Hunt. Scott partners with clients to architect, plan, and manage the development of products that are scalable, user-centric, and built to adapt to the ever-changing digital landscape – ultimately engaging and delighting users. Highly respected in the digital strategy space, Scott has been asked to speak at user groups, tech councils, and conferences about development and how it intersects with business and strategy. In his free time, Scott runs marathons, practices photography, and hangs out with his wife and two daughters (who amaze him every day).

Kailen Campbell
Director of Operations

Kailen is our Director of Operations at Tallwave. She breaks the world record for using the words “staffing”, “SOW”, “Revenue Recognition” and “Utilization” in any given hour of the day. She leads our PMO, drives important internal initiatives, implements company-wide tooling & process, and ensures we all have some fun along the way!  Outside the office, she loves to do yoga, indulge as a foodie, and spend quality time with her son and husband!
